Dr Rajini Jayaballa
Dr Rajini Jayaballa is an Endocrinology Staff Specialist at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals.
She is the clinical lead at Western Sydney Diabetes as well as the High Risk Foot Service and a Consultant at Macquarie University Rouse Hill Clinic for private consultations.
Dr Jayaballa runs diabetes case conferences with general practitioners, practice nurses, pharmacists in the community and is actively involved in teaching and clinical research, including as a clinical lecturer at Macquarie University.
She has authored peer reviewed articles and presented and national and international conferences. She is passionate about providing patient-centred and high quality evidence-based medicine to all her patients.
She has clinical expertise in a broad range of endocrine problems including: diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes), weight management with metabolic syndrome and obesity, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis.
