Inviting all health care staff who work with people who have Diabetes, including GPs, Nursing staff, Endocrinologists, Podiatrists, Dentists, Oral Health Therapists, Diabetes Educators and Ophthalmologists. This forum aims to outline the strong relationships between oral health and general health in the context of diabetes. The important links between diabetes and periodontal disease will be outlined during the evening. This is an opportunity for alliances to be made between Oral Health and Medical practitioners which will be of great benefit to your patients. In addition, as a health care professional, you will receive practical tips for your patients to maintain good oral health.
