Dr Anoji Thevarajah is a second-year Endocrinology Advanced Trainee within Western Sydney Local Health District.
She is currently working with Western Sydney Diabetes, where she is involved in the management of complex diabetes and endocrine conditions across both hospital and community settings. Her role includes multidisciplinary case conferencing with general practitioners and allied health, as well as contributing to innovative models of care incorporating digital health and continuous glucose monitoring.
Dr Thevarajah has a strong interest in diabetes, metabolic health, and reproductive endocrinology. She is actively involved in clinical research, with first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national conferences.
She is passionate about delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care and is particularly focused on improving long-term outcomes through education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of new technologies into clinical practice.
Her clinical experience spans a broad range of endocrine conditions including diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes), obesity and metabolic syndrome, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary disease, and osteoporosis.
