Sumathy Ravi

Sumathy has been working as the program manager for Western Sydney Diabetes (WSD), Integrated and Community Health WSLHD, for 15 years providing program and business management in implementing Western Sydney Diabetes strategy. Sumathy is currently completing a PhD with the Sydney Health Literacy Lab, Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney, leading a qualitative study on the effectiveness of virtual care in managing type 2 diabetes, with a focus on patient and provider experiences, behavioural change, and health system integration. Her work on co-designing a digital pre-clinic assessment tool has been cited as a key innovation in improving patient-centred diabetes management.
