Victoria Silvestro

Victoria is the Senior Clinical Dietitian leading the Dietetics Department at Western Sydney Diabetes.

She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, where her research focuses on the role of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology in dietary interventions for people living with type 2 diabetes.

She has a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in diabetes care, which has helped make a significant impact across the region.

She enjoys challenging traditional models of care and advocating for practical, patient-centred approaches to nutrition and education. Her goal is to shape healthier outcomes for her patients - nothing motivates her more than seeing the life-changing effects of better food choices.

Victoria is passionate about educating the community on the importance of healthy eating, as she believes education really is the power. She is working alongside the team to educate the western Sydney community on strategies to improve their health through nutrition.
